Always reminded that dogs have more fun!
Hi! Cycling around Georgetown and there they are - dogs in all shapes and sizes! These are the street dogs of Penang, loved and cared for by the trichaw riders (like a bicycle taxi). Spotted one that was sleeping on the foot rest on one of the trichaws. Others chewing and having a feast on rice and curry. This reminds me! Bookings are taken for dog sits on the Gold Coast, Australia, from 14 Dec. Preferably close to Southport. www.dogsrulehousesit.com
Dogs are free!
Street dogs that can roam around Georgetown seem quite happy. They are given some rice with curry sauce at the end of the hawker stalls shift. They sniff and trot around and sleep on seats, in doorways and parks. Yesterday I saw one sleep on the foot rest of a trichaw (a bicycle taxi) typical of Penang. Surrounded by flowers, speakers and flashing lights. He had a great snooze!

Chihuahas!
Hi!
I'm having the last night with two very sweet chihuahas in Helensvale. We've had a nice time. Little strolls, lots of sitting on the lap, being brushed, a few baths, treats and sniffing about. Here they are!

Time for change soon again!
We only have one week left here in the big garden residence in Ormeau. Still raining heaps so the garden keeps sprouting, lawns still need an other mow next Friday and the pool needs constant attention due to the high winds. Leaves come flying! But by next weekend I'll be only a couple of suburbs up - in Helensvale, looking afer a couple of very loved and very spoiled chihuahuas! They seem very fun to be around. And one very old long haired cat that spends most of her day sleeping. So now we are booked until 7 November 2010. Still have some spots for doggy day care and walking! And bookings are taken from 7 Nov for house sits. We need to be close to Southport. Just give Craig a call for a chat: 0402562112.

Switch the sparkie dog
This is Switch the sparkie dog! He was rescued by his electrician owner from the dog home. He's full of bounce and loves sniffing every post and tree trunk. A bit shy around other dogs, but once he realise they are friendly he loves to have a bit of a play.

Gold Coast house sitting
Hi!
We are still here in the Ormeau house sit. It's been raining a lot and the grass keeps growing. Time to mow again soon. It's lovely and green though. And not wet, wet, wet like out in my favourite part of the woods; Stanthorpe, Glen Aplin and Ballandean.
Never a dull moment!
